![]() Here’s how it works: When the electric grid comes under stress, an “emergency event” is called by New York’s Independent System Operator (NYISO), the manager of the state’s electric grid. • Efficiently Green will then notify the Ice Hutch who will reduce their electric demand for 4-6 hours at a time. • Efficiently Green pays The Ice Hutch 4 times a year for their successful participation. • NYISO offers both winter & summer programs • Con Edison also offer DR programs where customers can earn even more money About The Ice Hutch: Founded in 1997, The Ice Hutch serves the skating community all year-round. Some of the best Figure skating & Hockey events are held right here in Mount Vernon. The Ice Hutch is also home to the 2016-17 NY State Hockey Champion - Pelham Pelicans!!!! “Efficiently Green really helped us understand these programs and taught us how to maximize the revenues that DR programs can produce. We look forward to continued success and suggest that others take advantage of these little known revenue generating NY State programs.” Ed Witz, Owner The Ice Hutch Efficiently Green Inc. becomes a new Trade Ally with Central Hudson Electric. This means that we can help advise our customer on all efficiency rebate programs that Central Hudson has to offer. We have completed hundreds of lighting projects, however we just completed our first LED lighting upgrade in Hopewell Junction, NY. We look forward to working with many more Central Hudson customers to help them obtain all available utility rebates and help customer become more efficient and save money on their electric bills.
Thank you Central Hudson!!! http://www.savingscentral.com/tradeallies/ Hi All,
This is my first posting to the Efficiently Green Energy Blog. I look forward to sharing my thoughts and energy related information and look forward to your response, feedback, and opinions in order to help us build this blog to an educational, informative, and hopefully fun platform for all. This is the perfect time of year to discuss one of the things that I stress to every business owner, energy manager, or budget holder when it comes to their energy budget management. Before you can plan ahead you have to look at the past. One of the things I do with every client is review the actual numbers from your past 2 year energy history. This will include both supply & demand as well as costs, market, facility, and weather related conditions. The good thing is that Efficiently Green can help you do this very easily and for FREE and only require that you send us one copy of your electric bill. Once we have this we can pull a TON of data for you & will compile a detailed report for us to continue our conversation and more importantly discuss where you stand today and where you would like to stand tomorrow. Now is the time for us to have fun. We review the data – boring to some, not to others (like me☺). Next we talk about budget (again fun for me as I love this stuff). After this we can discuss the objectives and wish list for yourself, employees, owners, etc. so we can leverage your energy budget in order to help you achieve these goes. I could continue this blog but think that this is a good start. I hope that I have gotten your attention and communicated that Energy Budgets can be easy, especially if you have someone helping you. Energy Budgets should also be a tool for you and if we use this tool property we can help you towards your energy goals for years to come. We can also start to leverage your energy budget to help you manage your facility better, exceed goals, and complete wish list items that may not have been possible or approved without taking this step. Let’s work together set the right budgets that will allow you to meet and exceed your goals next year. Thank you John Tyler I welcome your responses, feedback, and opinions. Feel free to email be to discuss more. jtyler@efficiently-green.com. |
